Sud Ovest brings the flavours of the sea to your table with a selection of fish and seafood specialities inspired by Sardinian culinary tradition. Founded in Iglesias in 2018, Sud Ovest specialises in the processing and transformation of fish and seafood products. The company was established by Sergio Daga following many years of experience in the fishing industry and tuna processing, including experience gained at the historic Antica Tonnara in Carloforte. Sud Ovest combines traditional techniques with modern production technologies, placing particular emphasis on the selection of raw ingredients and quality control throughout every stage of processing.

Bottarga, or cured fish roe, is one of the key specialities in the Sud Ovest range. Both grey mullet bottarga and tuna bottarga are available whole or grated, in a variety of formats. The catalogue also features a wide selection of fish and seafood specialities, including tuna fillets, tuna belly, buzzonaglia (tuna offcuts) and tarantello (a prized cut from the tuna belly area), tuna preserved in olive oil, smoked fish, Cantabrian anchovies and specialities such as mosciame di tonno (air-dried tuna), bluefin tuna heart and carpaccios of octopus, cuttlefish and swordfish.

The range is rounded out by fish pestos, sauces, spreads and vegetables preserved in oil, offering a variety of ways to enhance appetisers, pasta dishes and other culinary creations. The company's philosophy is rooted in the continuous pursuit of quality, meticulous production processes and a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene.
